A Taste of What is to Come
The wedding at Cana shows us more than water turned into wine—it reveals the epic moment when God’s glory breaks into the ordinary through Jesus Christ. In Him, we see not just blessings or rules, but the very heart of the Father and the transforming power of the Son. Just as the disciples believed when His glory was revealed, we too are invited to see Jesus as the true prize, the living revelation of God who can turn the ordinary into something extraordinary.
Discussion Questions:
1. In movies or stories, the “epic reveal” changes everything. What’s a moment in your own life when something unexpected changed the way you saw things?
2. The servants had to step out in faith by carrying water to the master of ceremonies, not knowing it was wine. Can you think of a time when you had to act in faith before seeing the outcome?
3. Jesus used something as ordinary as water jars for His first miracle. What “ordinary” part of your life could Jesus transform into something extraordinary if you let Him?
4. Sometimes we focus on what God gives us—blessings, forgiveness, guidance—but forget that Jesus Himself is the prize. What helps you remember to focus on Him and not just what He provides?
5. The disciples believed when they saw His glory revealed. What helps strengthen your faith today—seeing God’s work in your own life, in others, or through Scripture?
